Party like the apocalypse is upon us

Spent the afternoon entertaining Dorian so that she didn't kill anyone in her last two hours at work. The following is the result:
It was a dark and stormy night on the banks of the Choptank
River
. And the jellyfish were starting part B of their evil
plot to take over the world and/or drive Margaret crazy.
You wouldn't think it, but the slimy little bastards had
managed to execute part A (appear to live in complete chaos,
while actually developing a biological weapon under the dock)
flawlessly. They had been aided by a great blue heron and a
sting ray, who simultaneously sounded the alarm to the
jellyfish and scared the hell out of our heroine every time
she approached. Their weapon would allow the jellyfish to
launch their toxic stinging cells through the air.
Obviously. And because the jelly fish are EVIL, they were
planning to use their powers for evil and not good. Ergo,
they were going to...um, who knows? They don't have brains,
so how logical can this plan really be? Suffice it to say,
the plot was clearly evil.

Fortunately enough, Margaret was one smart cookie, sent to
keep tabs on the slippery jerks, and she was on to their
plan. Margaret was so smart of a cookie, in fact, that they
called her "Cookie." Which she hated, naturally, as Margaret
is more of the gum-shoe-private-dick type who calls others
Cookie. But she had bigger fish to fry. And by fish, we mean
jellyfish. And fry them she would. She had a plan of her own.
Basically, she would lull the gooey sons of bitches into
believing that she was harmless. Then she'd have a big party,
and she wouldn't invite them. Nor would she invite any loud
talking bitches who failed to use their indoor voices. Or any
roommates who wouldn't mow the lawn. Or the heron and the
stingray, who she had liked just fine until the whole jellyfish
mess. She didn't quite know how the party would help to save
the world from the new weapon that would eventually be known to
the world as JF1, but she reasoned that if the oozing blobs of
goo were going to take over the world, she should go out with a
bang.

The end.
