Feeling acknowledged

J's finally getting close to completing his thesis. Good thing since he needs to send it out to his committee by close of business tomorrow. He's been sending me things to read pretty constantly for the last few weeks, and today's installment included the Acknowledgments. I was reading along thinking how nice it is around here that everybody helps everybody and what a good boy he is for thanking every single one of them and adding a comma here and there, when I came to this:

I thank Maggie ______ for help with S Plus and plots in Microsoft Office 2007, providing encouragement, and much more.

And if that wasn't enough to choke me up (which it was), the next part about his family may have been the sweetest thing I've ever read.
