Spooky

I watched The Day After Tomorrow last night. It's the very hokey movie from last year where the next ice age starts over the course of about a week (that's right, a bunch of oceanography students had an entire blockbuster to choose from and they picked the one about ocean mixing and ice ages, are you surprised?). Anyway, at the beginning of the movie, the climatologists are alerted to the situation when several of their weather buoys start reporting annomolous data. So I came to work this morning, and as always went straight to the CBOS website to retrieve the weather data for my sampling times from last night and this morning. All I found was a bunch of blank files. Apparently ALL of the bouys in the bay stopped reporting at 11 AM yesterday. Who wants to beat the rush and move to Mexico with me?

I knew Dorian would be down.

My favorite part was when the climatologist told the president that he should relocate to the parts of Florida that weren't flooded, southern Texas, or even better Mexico, and the president said, "this is why you are not in charge of policy."
