I went to Ikea this weekend, and instead of buying the ugly light weight it'll-do-for-now furniture, Moose talked me into buying prett big girl furniture. I would not have been so easily persuaded if I'd known just how much "assembly" was involved. I'm fairly handy, but it still took me over 8 hours to put together 2 pieces of furniture. It didn't help that I don't have an electic screwdriver. I'm also betting that I scored points with the new roommates when I was in my room hammering things at 11:30 at night. But the point is that what was once a giant pile of all of my junk is now a perfectly organized bedroom. Next stop: the kitchen!
